Scientific Head of Library Collections and Information Supply, Head of Department Discovery Services and Information Management, Museum für Naturkunde Berlin
Elisa Herrmann (M. A. LIS) is the Scientific Head of Library Collections and Information Supply and Head of the Department Discovery Services and Information Management at the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin. She is responsible for the digital transformation of the library and the archive. This includes monitoring and coordinating digitisation projects as well as the development of a modern information infrastructure. Furthermore she is involved in the museum’s Collection Discovery and Development project and is primarily concerned with accessibility to the collection and its embedding in the global knowledge network as well as co-creation projects for the re-use of the digitized collection.
